Lowel RIFA Exch

DaW was responsible for the design and engineering of a major upgrade to the much-loved family of Lowel RIFA Softbox lights. Moving away from the tungsten bulbs to the many configurations of CFLs, DaW designed a system that fit existing products. It allowed for an exchange of common bulb formats as well as the ability to keep current with future lighting sources. Hot, high-voltage, UL approved solutions proved to be a challenge, but the design extended the popularity of this product line.
